Mermaid style

I've been to see the gorgeous Christmas windows at Harrods in London twice now. The detail is spectacular and they are true fairytale! The Little Mermaid window features a dress by Marchesa and below i've found some bits and pieces for the grown woman to get her own mermaid princess inspiration! First up this dress by coast is utterly divine, it features a fishtail skirt and a cinched in waist to flatter, £220 from Coast find it here. The message in a bottle necklace is from the Disney Couture Collection and was inspired by the little Mermaid, it is so detailed and so charming, £55 find it here. Finally these shoes would give the elegant dress a fun twist and feature a shell design in silver and gold, they are from my favourite shoe brand irregular choice, find them here for £79.99.

Copper Princess

Having dyed my hair red I thought a post about red haired princess (to be followed by blondes and brunettes) was in order. Red isn't the most popular colour for princesses but no reason it shouldn't be. Red hair stand out beautifully with green, blue and purple as well as going great with red, black, silver and cream, or clash in the most elegant way with baby pink! For dying your hair I recommend colour foams than liquids for all over and easy application ;)

Pure Princess Heels

Irregular Choice shoes can be pretty crazy but these silver and gold ‘Flick Flack’ heels are pure princess! Gold paisley suede heels with a sequin cuff and button details. Irregular Choice heels can feel a little strange at first so my advice is to try them on from Schuh or Office first.  £79.99 from Irregular Choice, see them here.

Christian Louboutin Cinderella Shoes

Old news maybe but still worth a mentioning for the sheer beauty of them, Christian Louboutin Cinderella Shoes. They really look like a fairy-tale though I don’t know how easy it be to walk let alone waltz in them ;)

A slightly more affordable option (but still as sky-scrapping) are the cute Fifi shoes from Schuh studded with diamantes, find them here.

Also on a very exciting note, designers are taking over Harrods' in London Christmas windows, the theme this year Disney Princesses! There are going to be unveiled in November, you can read more on the Telegraph website here

Princess Trainers

Babycham trainers with their Bambi style logo and bright colourful designers are perfect for the exercising princess! From the same brand who created the retro drinks the shoes and trainers are girly but adult, fun and (to cliché) functional.

My personal favourites are the Fairytale Trainers below. The black canvas is decorated with a variety of colourful silhouettes featuring castles, frog princes and unicorns, as well as stars, hearts and butterflies.

The widest selection I have found is from Schuh but if your looking for the older designs lots of people are selling them on ebay.

Disney Couture Jewellery

Snow White Bangle

I love jewellery but I don't wear much apart from my bangle and occasional ring, however I love to look it and Disney Couture jewellery is so pretty and quirky and perfect for the adult princess ;) The jewellery is of high quality using enamel, swarovski crystals, 25k gold plate  and lots of little details which make these pieces really special. They are a bit prices but are really pretty statement pieces that always get lots of comments :)
Tinkerbell Snowglobe Ring

Several sites sell it in the UK and on ebay but I’ve found Zentosa to have the widest collection.

Cinderella Stacking Rings
New collections are released several times a year and themed around a particular Disney movie. I personally love the Snow White Collection, Cinderella and Tinkerbell, which probably explains why the three pieces I have are from these collections :)

Princess Perfume

The Vera Wang Princess perfume is a staple of my daily routine. Not only does it have it's practical uses of smelling like a sweet surgery bouquet of flowers but the bottle is darling. The cute heart shape is topped with it's own gold removable crown studded with purple gems.

The perfume I have is the original Princess perfume, however there are several others in the range shown below for whatever princess you want to be;)

The perfume is available from Boots £45.00 for 50ml click here.
